Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We got the classic carbonara, ube custard and cold cuts and cheese platter. The carbonara tastes really good. I would reorder that when i get back. The platter is also good. The Ube Custard is ok. Will def wanna try the other dishes here."
"My family and I appreciates the costumer service of this place. Even though we are just walk-in diners, they accommodated right away. The breakfast buffet (900php + per head) offers typical filipino breakfast foods such as tocino, garlic rice, omelette, brewed coffee, and various bread options. There are also mini spaces for cereals, yogurt, congee, salad, noodle soup, and charcuterie board. Personally, I liked: danish pastry, brewed coffee, garlic rice, omelette, soft boiled egg, and fruits. I also commend the staff Polen for personally checking on us and fast action in some concerns. Thank you also for serving me fresh orange juice when I suggested another juice option aside from apple juice For minor areas for improvement or comment, let me list that. - serving spoon for rice and viands should be on a small plate in front on the containers. I almost burn my hand when I scoop from one of the viand - cold cuts and wet fruits slices may be better placed separately or in divider container so each wont affect texture (just like what happened with the strawberries) - keep floor dry in front of juice section Overall, this is a recommended breakfast buffet if you are craving for just filipino cuisine and appreciates good service"
"Nice and cozy atmosphere paired with amazing food. Ube Custard Cake was absolutely delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend trying this place out if you are ever in the area. Will definitely come back again soon."
"Bay City Cafe nailed it across the board—delicious food, top-notch service, fair prices, a prime location, and a cozy, inviting vibe. They’ve got the magic combo that will keep you coming back for more. Already planning my next visit!"
"Beautiful atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. I got the Citazen burger and my partner got the beef tapa. Both were excellent. Whilst we waited we were given complimentary chips. Food arrived promptly and was extremely fresh. Cannot find fault in any element. Would recommend to anybody."
"Tried their breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the selection esp the sausage, longganisa, almond cake, biko Pet friendly hotel and cafe - just had to be seated at the Al Fresco area which was fine. Weather was cooperative, and their ceiling fans were strong. Service was great and staff were very friendly."
"Great food and amazing staff, Great place to chill and relax. They have electrical outlets all over the place. The staff were friendly and their menu was delicious. Highly recommended! And by the way they have 50% on their bread and pastries at 7pm."
"Good food and great service! I love the coffee and also the cocktails here. I stayed at the Citadines during my last few trips to Pasay and always liked the vibes in the cafe. It's cheerful and relaxing, and I was always welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm. The weekend coffee cart is a great idea and I look forward to having their drip coffee. I even spent a Friday evening here trying out their cocktail menu. The stemware wasn't exactly impressive, but the cocktails were good. Unfortunately, they don't have much variety of crafted cocktails in their menu but I think that is OK with me as I don't mind the classics."
